Masnoon Duas & Namaz

بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ

Bismillahi walhamdu lillahi.

I begin with the name of Allah, and all praises are due to Allah.

اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي ذَنْبِي وَوَسِّعْ لِي فِي دَارِي وَبَارِكْ لِي فِي رِزْقِي

Allahummaghfir-lee zambi wa wass'ee lee fi dari wa barik-lee fi rizqi.

O Allah, forgive my sins, expand my home for me, and bless my livelihood.

أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ، اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْنِي مِنَ التَّوَّابِينَ وَاجْعَلْنِي مِنَ الْمُتَطَهِّرِينَ

Ash-hadu alla-ilaha illallahu wahdahu la shareeka lahu, wa ash-hadu anna muhammadan abduhu wa rasooluhu, Allahummaj-alni minat-tawwabina wa ja'alni minal mutatahhireen.

I bear witness that none has the right to be worshipped except Allah, alone without partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad ﷺ is His slave and Messenger. O Allah, make me among those who turn to You in repentance, and make me among those who are purified.

اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ هَذِهِ الدَّعْوَةِ التَّامَّةِ، وَالصَّلَاةِ الْقَائِمَةِ، آتِ مُحَمَّدًا الْوَسِيلَةَ وَالْفَضِيلَةَ، وَابْعَثْهُ مَقَامًا مَحْمُودًا الَّذِي وَعَدْتَهُ، إِنَّكَ لَا تُخْلِفُ الْمِيعَادَ

Allahumma rabba hazihid da'watit taammah wassalatil qa'imah, aati Muhammadanil waseelata walfazeelah, wab'asuhu maqamam mahmoodanil lazee wa'adtah, innaka laa tukhliful mee'aad.

O Allah, Lord of this perfect call and established prayer, grant Muhammad the intercession and favor, and raise him to the honored station You have promised him. Verily You do not neglect promises.

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ وَالصَّلَاةُ وَالسَّلَامُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ، اللَّهُمَّ افْتَحْ لِي أَبْوَابَ رَحْمَتِكَ

Bismillahi wassalatu wassalamu alaa rasoolillah, allahum-maftah lee abwaba rahmatik.

In the name of Allah, and peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah. O Allah, open for me the doors of Your mercy.

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ وَالصَّلَاةُ وَالسَّلَامُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ، اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ

Bismillahi wassalatu wassalamu alaa rasoolillah, allahumma inni as'aluka min fazlik.

In the name of Allah, and peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah. O Allah, I ask You of Your bounty.

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الَّذِي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الرَّحْمَنُ الرَّحِيمُ، اللَّهُمَّ أَذْهِبْ عَنِّي الْهَمَّ وَالْحُزْنَ

Bismillahillazi la-ilaha illa huwar rahmanur-raheem, allahumma azhib annil hamma wal huzn.

In the name of Allah, besides whom there is none worthy of worship, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. O Allah, remove from me worry and depression.

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ وَعَلَى بَرَكَةِ اللَّهِ

Bismillahi wa'ala barakatillah.

In the name of Allah and with the blessings of Allah I begin (eating).

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ أَوَّلَهُ وَآخِرَهُ

Bismillahi awwalahu wa aakhirahu.

In the name of Allah at the beginning and at the end.

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَطْعَمَنَا وَسَقَانَا وَجَعَلَنَا مُسْلِمِينَ

Alhamdulillahil lazee at'amana wa saqana wa ja'alana minal muslimeen.

Praise be to Allah who has fed us and given us drink and made us Muslims.

اللَّهُمَّ أَطْعِمْ مَنْ أَطْعَمَنِي وَاسْقِ مَنْ سَقَانِي

Allahumma at'im man at'amani wasqi man saqani.

O Allah, feed the one who fed me and give drink to the one who gave me drink.

اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَنَا فِيهِ وَزِدْنَا مِنْهُ

Allahumma barik lana fihee wazidna minhu.

O Allah, bless it for us and give us more of it.

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي سَقَانَا عَذْبًا فُرَاتًا بِرَحْمَتِهِ وَلَمْ يَجْعَلْهُ مِلْحًا أُجَاجًا بِذُنُوبِنَا

Alhamdulillahil lazee saqana azban furatam bi-rahmatihi wa lam yaj'alhu milhan ujajam bi-zunubina.

All praise is due to Allah, Who by His mercy has granted us sweet and pleasant water to drink and did not make it bitter and salty due to our sins.

اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ صُمْتُ وَبِكَ آمَنْتُ وَعَلَيْكَ تَوَكَّلْتُ وَعَلَى رِزْقِكَ أَفْطَرْتُ

Allahumma laka sumtu wa bika aamantu wa alayka tawakkaltu wa ala rizqika aftartu.

O Allah, I fasted for You and I believe in You and I put my trust in You and I break my fast with Your sustenance.

ذَهَبَ الظَّمَأُ وَابْتَلَّتِ الْعُرُوقُ وَثَبَتَ الْأَجْرُ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ

Zahabaz zama'u wabtallatil urooqu wa sabatal ajru inshallah.

Thirst has gone, the arteries are moist, and the reward is sure if Allah wills.

اللَّهُمَّ بِاسْمِكَ أَمُوتُ وَأَحْيَا

Allahumma bismika amutu wa ahya.

In Your name O Allah, I live and die.

بِاسْمِكَ رَبِّي وَضَعْتُ جَنْبِي وَبِكَ أَرْفَعُهُ، فَإِنْ أَمْسَكْتَ نَفْسِي فَارْحَمْهَا، وَإِنْ أَرْسَلْتَهَا فَاحْفَظْهَا بِمَا تَحْفَظُ بِهِ عِبَادَكَ الصَّالِحِينَ

Bismika rabbi waza'tu jambi wa bika arfa'ahu fa'in amsakta nafsi farhamha wa in arsaltaha fahfazha bima tahfaz bihi ibadakas saliheen.

In Your name my Lord, I lie down and in Your name I rise. So if You take my soul then have mercy upon it, and if You return my soul then protect it as You protect Your righteous servants.

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَحْيَانَا بَعْدَ مَا أَمَاتَنَا وَإِلَيْهِ النُّشُورُ

Alhamdulillahil lazee ahyana ba'da ma amatana wa ilayhin nushoor.

All praise is for Allah who gave us life after having taken it from us, and unto Him is the resurrection.

أَعُوذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّاتِ مِنْ غَضَبِهِ وَعِقَابِهِ وَشَرِّ عِبَادِهِ وَمِنْ هَمَزَاتِ الشَّيَاطِينِ وَأَنْ يَحْضُرُونَ

A'uzu bikalimatil-lahit tammati min ghazabihi wa iqabihi wa sharri ibadihi wa min hamazatish shayateeni wa ayyahzuroon.

I seek refuge with the complete words of Allah from His anger and His punishment and the evil of His slaves, and from the evil suggestions of the devils and from their presence.

أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ وَشَرِّ هَذِهِ الرُّؤْيَا

A'uzu billahi minash-shaitani wa sharri hazihir ro'uya.

I seek refuge in Allah from Satan and the evil of this vision.

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ، اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْخُبُثِ وَالْخَبَائِثِ

Bismillahi allahumma inni a'uzu bika minal khubsi wal khaba'is.

In the name of Allah. O Allah, I seek refuge with You from all evil and evil-doers.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ عِلْمًا نَافِعًا، وَرِزْقًا طَيِّبًا، وَعَمَلًا مُتَقَبَّلًا

Allaahumma 'innee 'as'aluka 'ilman naafi'an, wa rizqan tayyiban, wa 'amalan mutaqabbalan.

O Allah, I ask You for knowledge that is of benefit, a good provision, and deeds that will be accepted.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْجَنَّةَ وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ النَّارِ

Allaahumma 'innee 'as'alukal-jannata wa 'a'oothu bika minan-naar.

O Allah, I ask You for Paradise and seek Your protection from the Fire.

سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ، وَاللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ

Subhaanallaahi, walhamdu lillaahi, wallaahu 'akbar.

Glory is to Allah, praise is to Allah, and Allah is the Most Great.

لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ سُبْحَانَكَ إِنِّي كُنْتُ مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ

Laa 'ilaaha 'illaa 'Anta subhaanaka 'innee kuntu minadh-dhaalimeen.

There is none worthy of worship but You, glory is to You. Surely, I was among the wrongdoers.

اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِحَيِّنَا وَمَيِّتِنَا، وَشَاهِدِنَا وَغَائِبِنَا، وَصَغِيرِنَا وَكَبِيرِنَا، وَذَكَرِنَا وَأُنْثَانَا. اللَّهُمَّ مَنْ أَحْيَيْتَهُ مِنَّا فَأَحْيِهِ عَلَى الْإِسْلَامِ، وَمَنْ تَوَفَّيْتَهُ مِنَّا فَتَوَفَّهُ عَلَى الْإِيمَانِ

Allahummaghfir li hayyinaa wa mayyitina wa shahidina wa gha'ibina wa sagheerina wa kabeerina wa zakarina wa unsana. Allahumma man ahyaytahu minna fa'ahyihi 'alal islam wa man tawaffaitahu minna fatawaffahu 'alal iman.

O Allah, forgive our living and our deceased, our present and our absent, our young and our old, our males and our females. O Allah, whoever You keep alive of us, keep him alive upon Islam, and whoever You cause to die, let him die in a state of faith.
